Federal Achieving a Better Life Experience Act

Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel’s office recently launched STABLE Accounts   –   the nation’s first savings plan for persons with disabilities. 

Made possible by the Federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, STABLE Accounts allow eligible participants to save, invest, and spend money on qualified disability expenses such as housing, healthcare, education and transportation without losing need-based benefits.
